All services are performed by IICRC-certified technicians in accordance with industry standards including the IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration and IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation.
3. Service Estimates and Pricing
Initial estimates provided over the phone or via our website are preliminary and subject to on-site assessment. Final pricing is determined after our technicians assess the actual scope of damage, which may differ from initial descriptions. We provide written estimates before beginning non-emergency work.
For emergency services requested outside of normal business hours, or when immediate response is necessary to prevent further damage, work may begin prior to the completion of a written estimate. In such cases, we will document the scope of work and provide pricing as soon as practicable.
4. Insurance Claims
We regularly work with insurance companies to facilitate the claims process for our customers. When you authorize us to communicate directly with your insurer, you authorize us to:
- Document damage and prepare restoration scopes in insurance-standard formats (e.g., Xactimate)
- Submit documentation and estimates directly to your insurance company or adjuster
- Negotiate scope of work and pricing on your behalf
- Receive payment directly from your insurer for authorized work
You remain responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance, including deductibles. We make no guarantees regarding insurance coverage, claim approval, or payment amounts. Final responsibility for payment lies with the property owner.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For insurance-covered work, we may bill your insurer directly with your authorization, and you are responsible for your deductible.
Unpaid balances are subject to interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law. In the event that collection action is necessary, you agree to pay all reasonable attorney fees and collection costs. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid services in accordance with Texas law.
6. Property Access and Authorization
By scheduling our services, you represent that you are the property owner or have authority to authorize work on the property. You grant our technicians and equipment access to all areas of the property necessary to assess, mitigate, and restore water damage. You agree to notify us of any known hazards, including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, mold, structural instability, or other dangerous conditions.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or conditions present before our work began
- Damage caused by delayed reporting of water damage
- Secondary damage that occurs after we have completed our services and been paid
- Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages including loss of use, lost profits, or loss of data
- Damage caused by the underlying water source that we were not engaged to address
In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount paid for services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Warranty
We warrant that all restoration work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with IICRC standards. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, you must notify us in writing within thirty (30) days of project completion. Our sole obligation under this warranty is, at our option, to re-perform the deficient services or issue a refund for the affected portion of the work. This warranty does not cover conditions resulting from new water intrusion, events outside our control, or work performed by third parties.
